Mike has been called “Jaco Reincarnated” by his peers, and is often recognized by fine musicians for his effortless virtuosity on fretted, fretless, upright, and electric upright bass.  He holds a music degree in percussion which has allowed him to develop his own unique style and technique combining rhythmic and percussive skills with melody and musicality.
